穴場？ロンドンで一番好きだった場所/ Favorite Place Brick Lane in London

はじめてのヨーロッパ。イギリスロンドン。My first travel to Europe, UK, London.

 

私が初めてヨーロッパに訪れたのは大学３年生の夏でした。

ずっと前からヨーロッパには訪れてみたくて、よくテレビの特集でも組まれる、父が大好きなイギリスに行きたくて….

この頃は、まさか自分が将来、年に何回もヨーロッパに訪れるなんて思っていなかったけど。

この旅の中毒性はすごくて、今でも初めており立ったヨーロッパへの憧れと期待は忘れられない。

 

This was my first trip to Europe, London when I was third year university student.

I had dreamed of going to Europe for long time because I saw European TV shows and my father always told me Londin is amazing city!!

I did not imagine I will travel to Europe a lot of time these days… haha

I will never forget how much I was excited about this trip and longing and expectation for Europe…

 

 

どこを歩いても非現実的。おとぎ話の中にいるみたいな錯覚におちいるヨーロッパ。

ロンドンは街と古き良き建物が混在していた。少し街を歩けば、緑の公園が広がっていて、日向ぼっこしている若者がいる。

電車に乗れば、少し治安の悪さも感じるけど、でもすれ違う人が微笑みを向けてくれる。そんな場所。

そこで暮らすのは欧米人だけではないし、イギリス人だけでもない。

色んな理由で暮らす世界中から来た人々。

様々なルーツ、ひとりひとりの人生の物語が、ロンドンの街なかで、混ざり合わさったような不思議な….空間。

 

It was unrealistic whenever I walked around. I felt like I was in a fairy tale.

There is a not only modern building but also old building.

I saw a beautiful park and young people sitting and enjoying having a conversation when I walked around the city.

I sometimes felt unsafety when I took a train but people often smiled to me.  It is not normal to smile to stranger in Japan.

Smiling to other people is good attitude and culture.  Smile makes people happier.

People from different countries live in London.

It seemed to like the life stories of a lot of people were mixed in London.

私が大好きだった場所Brick Lane。おそらく普通の人は、そこまでおすすめスポットに選ばないんじゃないかと思ったり。

私は田舎で過ごしてきたから、治安の悪さを感じつつ、でもとてもクリエイティブなこの場所にはまった。

そこらじゅうに、アート。どこからともなく流れる音楽。

他のヨーロッパとは違うファッション。

 

My favorite place Brick Lane.  A lot of people might think there are a lot of beautiful places than here.

But For me…. I have lived in the small city since I was born so I was interested in this place.

I could feel sometimes unsafety but so creative. a lot of art, music…

Fashion taste is different from other European countries.

 

 

ふらふらと訪れたのがビンテージショップ「BLITZ」と「BEYOND RETRO」

日本では古着は買わないんだけど、ここは本当に楽しかった。

かわいい服がたくさん。そして何より店舗が広くて何時間もいられる。

わたしはここで、２着買ったんだけど、本当に買い物するにはおすすめの場所。何がって、たのしい。

 

I visited vintage shops “BLITZ and BEYOND RETRO”.

I hardly buy vintage clothes in Japan but I bought some clothes here because it was fun to look for my favorite clothes.

They are so pretty Kawaiiii ♡  In addition, the shop is large so I could stay there for a long time.

I recommend you visit these shops to find someting special you like.

ビッグベン/Big Ben

王道だけど、本当に感動した。ウエストミンスター駅を降りると、目の前に現れるビッグベン。

今までいろんな国を訪れたけど、建物をみてこれほど感動したことはあまりないかもしれない。

テムズ川から眺める景色は、ビッグベンは美しくて心地よくて３時間もぼーっと…ただ離れたくなくて眺めてた。

 

Everyone must know this place but it is really amazing.

I have been to a lot of countries before but I have not been so impressed with beautiful archtecture.

I wanted to stay and see the nice view . Therefore I forgot the time and stayed there for 3 hours haha.

 

タワーブリッジ/ Tower bridge

テムズ川沿いから眺めるタワーブリッジも、間近から眺めるタワーブリッジも感動した。

荘厳で、どれだけ眺めていても飽きない。

ぜひテムズ川沿いをお散歩がてら、近くからも眺めてみて。

 

I was impressed with the Tower Bridge from Thames river. It was also awesome to see this closer.

This bidge was so  solemn and I could see that for a long time.

If you have chance, Please walk along the river to see this bridge.

 

オペラ座/ Musical

最後はオペラ座。私はオペラ座の怪人を見た。

オペラ座を鑑賞するのが目的だったけど、いつのまにか私が引き込まれていたのは、ステージの下で演奏しているオーケストラ。

幼い頃から、音楽に触れていて、15年間ピアノやサックスをしていたから、本当に感動した。

I watched the musical Phantom of the Opera.

The purpose was to see this musical but I was obsessed with orchestra when I saw the people playing the musical instrument.

Since when I was a child, I have been playing the piano and saxophone, so I was really interested in it.

 

私にとってロンドンが、初めてのヨーロッパ。

ロンドンはやはり島国で、他のヨーロッパとは違う雰囲気。

ロンドンから始まり、たくさんのヨーロッパを旅した。留学もした。けど、もっともっとヨーロッパの歴史や文化に触れたい。

 

そう思わしてくれたのは、ヨーロッパの友達であり、歴史であり、、、そして初めてのヨーロッパロンドンでの感動かな。

London was my first trip to Europe…

London is a island country and different atmosphere from other european countries.

Since this trip, I went to a lot of european countries for vacation and studying.

But I want to visit more countries as much as possible.

Reason to think that way is due to my friend, culture and this London trip… I noticed how beautiful europe is……
